Sparkling Natural White Bairrada Reserve
According to history, the toponym Sangalhos may have its origin in the cult of Sanctus Gallus/Sanchus Gállius.
It was with this inspiration that a group of friends, in 2001, in Sangalhos, decided to produce a sparkling wine for their own consumption in a family cellar. Thus, Gallius was born.
Alongside the small cellar, a climate-controlled pavilion was constructed, featuring an underground cellar with constant temperature and humidity, where rosé and reserve sparkling wines are aged for a minimum of 12 months before disgorgement.
In a world of constant transformation, we aim to maintain the unwavering quality that we and you have come to expect. We aspire to become a national reference in the Demarcated Region of Bairrada!
